Hello friends!
We share a very typical recipe for Easter, the Castilian stew, also called Potaje de Vigilia, a stew suitable for those who follow the religious precepts of not eating meat during Lent.
Castilian stew or Vigilia stew made with Pedrosillano Chickpea, spinach and cod.
Pedrosillanos chickpeas have a high fiber content and high diuretic value. In addition, it contains low fat content and helps regulate blood pressure and cholesterol.
Advice: You can use fresh or salted cod. If you choose salted cod, remember to desalt it the day before. White pepper can be replaced by turmeric.
